The plastic one is very sturdy, the metal and wood one is also nice and sturdy.
The plastic one feels better and has 3 edges at a nice angle so it can be faster than the metal one which has 2 (but the angle is harder to use so usually it's 1 edge)
The plastic one should also be more gentle.
Which one is better depends on the cloth material, but for me i prefer and use the plastic one more.

For such a cheap device, it’s really sturdy. I tried is on my carpet, and works extremely well. The rubber fingers get a lot of hair and debris. But given the amount of friction it’s subjected to, i recommend getting more than one, because i’m pretty sure the rubber will get worn with constant use (a normal outcome). Happy with it!
